2021-2022 Season Updates

Spring Schedule:

 Interest Zooms (Attend for more information on dates, rehearsals, show announcement, COVID protocols):

 Student Leadership Applications Click here to open the Leadership Application.  All students who are interested in applying for Drum Major, Section Leader, or Marching Tech. must complete this form  by Friday, May 14th. Drum Major interviews will occur the week of May 17th. Leadership will be announced on June 9th.

  

 Spring Rehearsals All students interested in the 2021-2022 season must attend 2 out of 3 rehearsals to earn a spot in the marching band. Rehearsals will be held in the CRHS Band Room. COVID Health Screen & Temperature Check upon entry.

 

  • Rehearsal #1: Wednesday, May 26th 6:00 - 8:00 PM

  • Rehearsal #2: Wednesday, June 2nd 6:00 - 8:00 PM

  • Rehearsal #3: Wednesday, June 8th 6:00 - 8:00 PM  

Summer Schedule:

Percussion and Guard will have weekly rehearsals, time TBD. Students will be expected to be present unless they are out of town or have a prior engagement. Communicate these conflicts with your section leader and Mr. Otto/Ms. Whalen.

Each section is required to attend 2 rehearsals at school to run through music, selected by the section leader(s). Sections can select any of the 2 dates on the summer calendar. The summer calendar will be decided on May 26th 2021, following our first in-person rehearsal. These rehearsals will coincide with the weekly guard/percussion rehearsals.

  • Thursday, August 5th: 

    • Rookies & Leadership ONLY for morning block

    • All members attend afternoon/evening block\

  • Friday, August 6th:

    • Morning & Afternoon block only, early dismissal 

  • Monday, August 9th - Friday, August 13th:

    • Full camp days

    • Early dismissal on Friday the 13th

  • Monday, August 16th - Tuesday August 17th:

    • Full camp days

  • Wednesday, August 18th:

    • Quick rehearsal before event

    • Truckin’ Back to School: Time TBD - Evening

  • Thursday, August 19th:

    • Rehearsal starting at 4:00 PM in Rider Stadium

    • Exhibition performance: 6:00 PM in Rider Stadium 

Daily Breakdown

  • Morning Block Check-in/COVID Screen: 8:00 - 8:30 AM at Practice Field

  • Morning Block:  8:30 - 11:30 AM

  • Lunch: All students stay at school 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Lunch options available, more info to come)

  • Afternoon Block: 12:30 - 3:30 PM Inside

  • Dinner: All students must leave the premises. 3:30 - 5:30 PM

  • Evening Block COVID Screen: 5:30 - 6:00 PM at Practice Field

  • Evening Block: 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Practice Field (Full ensemble visual & music rehearsal)

FALL SCHEDULE:

Daily rehearsal Monday-Thursday, 2:45 - 4:45 PM on Practice Field

Starts on Tuesday, August 24th

Football Games on Friday Nights (Home and Away) TBD

Competitions on Saturdays (All Day) TBD
